Consulting Brief
3P Strategies, a minority-owned consulting firm outside of the District of Columbia, develops strategic
alliances with private and public sectors to improve the health and well-being of people in the US and in
Africa. Our framework of consulting has enables us to deliver effective consulting services to our
consumers.
Our staff has evaluated government funded programs, and they have the knowledge and experiences to
developing and assessing intervention programs at the micro (individual/familial), meso (interpersonal
and community) and macro (societal, policy) levels. We have the experience and functional competencies
to work with programs that address health and social services needs of vulnerable populations, and
working for both the private and public sectors has exposed us to the crucial partnership between these
two sectors in delivering services, developing, and maintaining the health and well-being of communities.
At 3P Strategies, you will find a cadre of professionals with an acute understanding of the importance of
incorporating multilevel approaches to public health and policy programs. We apply strategies that
minimize overhead and ensure that each project has the right blend of expertise and resource.
Previous and current customers, include: US Department of Justice, Virginia Department of Criminal
Justice, Virginia Department of Social Services, and Prince George’s County Health Department. 3P
Strategies provided a range of services, such as conducting national cross-site evaluations for the
Federal government; assessing school health program and building school capacity to provide nutrition
and healthy lifestyle programs; and training criminal justice professionals on how to use data to design
and improve juvenile justice programs.
Our staff presented at a number of professional conferences and academic centers, including the
American Public Health Association and George Washington University Medical Center, to mention a few.
3P Strategies has partnered with a number of public health agencies to develop and implement public
health initiatives, such as the National Public Health Week.
