current work in Africa, particularly East African
countries of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Eritrea,
Ethiopia, and Somalia focuses on health and
human development sectors.
In the health sector, our staff trains health
professionals, decision-makers, and lay
persons on health promotion and disease
prevention concepts and strategies to support
local needs and to conduct outreach and
education to their respective communities in
areas of maternal and child health, HIV/AIDS,
cancer prevention, and tobacco cessation and
prevention.
